We've compiled some of the most frequently asked questions that our patients have, including dental care, insurance options, and payment plans. If you have any other questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, we would love to hear from you.

What will be done at my first visit to First Choice Dental Care?
Assuming you have no urgent dental problem we encourage an initial exam and x-rays with the dentist and a dental cleaning with our dental hygienist. You may start with a dental cleaning only after having a brief screening exam with the doctor.

Can I become a patient if I don’t have dental insurance?
Absolutely, yes!

I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time & I’m sure I have treatment to be done. Can I start with a cleaning first?
We can do that once as long as there are no serious dental problems going on. We encourage a thorough dental exam take place within a week or so following the first cleaning.

Do you accept walk-ins or do I need to make an appointment?
So that we have enough time available for your appointment it is always best to call ahead and schedule. We try very hard to accommodate all patients.

Do you offer payment plans?
We work with CareCredit. You can easily apply online or by phone.

I’m really nervous about coming to the dentist. Do you offer any kind of sedation?
We have nitrous oxide sedation available. We also use anti-anxiety medication for the extremely nervous patients. We do not put patients to sleep in our practice.

Does your office file claims with my insurance company or do I have to file with my insurance?
We file electronically for our patients and follow-up on claims to be sure they are paid in a timely manner.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, CareCredit, and Springstone.

I have an allergy to latex. Can you accommodate someone like me at your office?
Yes, we wear nitrile gloves.
